Held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Hamdan bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai and Minister of Finance, the camel races at Al Marmoum will see camels in the “Al Liqaya"" and ""Al Yitda'a"" age categories run as fast as 40km per hour to reach the finish line.
The camel races are organised in an effort to preserve Emarati and Arab culture and tradition. Attended by race enthusiasts from the UAE and GCC countries, the event will see the camels run 12 rounds on the racecourse.
