On the special occasion of celebrating UAE's 43rd national day,there are several activities like firewoks,parde,live entertainment planned to enjoy this important day.Here are some of the events taking place in Dubai to celebrate this grand occasion.
Spectacular firework show
Today from 6pm onwards there will be dazzling fireworks,music and magic in the area opposite to Burj al Arab. It si free of charge but admission is now limited to pre-registered ticket holders.If you have pre-registered,finish your work early and rush to find a best spot with Burj al Arab views to enjoy the spectacular firework display.
Boat parade with national spirit
Watch boats parade to and fro Dubai Marina Canal decorated in UAE theme,with its iconic buildings,wildlife etc.Also there wil be lots of activities like prize draws,face painting,tresure hunt,cooking stalls etc.

If you are planning for a trip to Jumeriah side, don't miss out to see the world record breaking attempt,the longest ever grafitti image,Rehlatna (Our Journey) ,along the Jumeirah Beach Road near Jumeirah Beach Park which is 2,180m long that portraits country's history.
Fireworks and entertainment JBR
Celebrations will start off with the live entertaiment from 5pm Dec 2,2014 followed by spectacular fireworks display at the beach opposite Jumeriah Beach Residence from 9pm.
Celebratons at City Walk
There will be tarditional performance by Al Ayalla and Al Yolla dancers, faboulous show by LED jugglers,face painting on the National Day,and wonderful light show at City Walk,at the junction of Al Wasl and Al Safa Road.The event started on Nov 28 and will conclude on Dec 2nd with a fireworks show that will begin at 9pm. 'Live' entertainment will begin at 5pm onwards each day and fireworks at 10pm.
Festive events at Dubai Mall
- Watani Exhibition – will offer awareness about UAE history
From November 30 to December 6, 2014, at The Dubai Mall, Star Atrium.
- Arabian Pearl Exhibition – from November 28 to December 6 at The Souk Atrium
- Kids’ parade – 40 Emirati children all dressed in the UAE flag colours, will march through The Dubai Mall’s ground floor reciting the National Anthem
December 1 and 2, from 4 to 8pm
- National colours on mall's waterfall – until Dec 3rd.
