If not, then here is a big reason to visit now – Dubai Butterfly Garden, which is located near to Dubai Miracle Garden.It was opened this year March and this world-class butterfly sanctuary is already attracting UAE residents and visitors from overseas.
Dubai Butterfly Garden is the largest indoor butterfly garden in the world which has domes housing more than 15,000 butterflies and pupae.It has the latest high-tech cooling solutions, all 2,600 square metres of its enclosed area are kept at a comfortable 24°C, 365 days of the year.So even though Dubai Miracle Garden is closed during summer, the butterfly garden is open for visitors throughout the year.
There are nine circular domes covering 1,800 square metres and it has a capacity to accommodate 300 people.Each dome is decorated with flower displays and are home to a range of butterflies in various colours, sizes and species.

- Butterfly Museum – a great collection of butterfly motifs, including an enormous picture of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum formed completely out of butterflies.
- Butterfly Park – a colourful park that is built following the butterfly theme.
- Koi Fish Ponds – There are three koi fish ponds with over ten colors of koi fish in different sizes.
Dubai Butterfly Garden is open daily, from 9.00am to 6.00pm. Admission is Dh50. Entry is free for people with disabilities and children three and under.
