Dubai Creek Park is the second largest park in Dubai with an area of about 96 hectares. It is located between Garhoud and Maktoum bridges .Families can enjoy their time here. Planned picnics can be organized and managed with ease in the Park. If not a picnic, the Park offers excellent facilities to have a day free of the kitchen duties for the busy moms. Kids will be beside themselves as they get to spend time among the never-ending lawn area. There is an admission fee which is quite nominal. It comes to around AED 5 only per person.
The Opening hours are 0800-2300 (8am to 11pm).
It is possible to visit the Children??s City centre and also the Dubai Dolphinarium. Birding is a main attraction of the Dubai Creek Park. There are also Barbeque areas which increases the enjoyment of the time spent here. Kids would love to come here as there are many play areas within. The Park has been maintained in every possible way to ensure the safety of the visitors, be it kids or adults. The view over Dubai Creek and the old Dubai skyline is simply fantastic. Photography lovers would find ample opportunities to click away and capture the beauty here.
Other attractions include an Amphitheater with seating for 1200 people. The park is also great for roller skating. In addition, the rental bikes, cable car rides, train ride and the fully stocked restaurant also add to the fun of the visit. Keeping in mind the intense heat during summer, there are facilities for Indoor play areas also. In addition to all these activities, visitors can spend a starlit session in the planetarium within the Park. For Golf lovers, a golf course is also present. There is in fact an 18-hole mini golf area spread out to the delight of players.
There should be special mention of the Dubai Creek Park Kite Festival held in mid February every year.
It is recorded that there are 145 species (including escapes) as in December 2009.Commonly seen species are Shikra and Alexandrine Parakeets whereas Migrants include Ortolan Bunting, Cinereous Bunting, Masked Shrike and Dark-throated Thrush. White-breasted Waterhen, Common Gull, Common Woodpigeon and Blyth’s Reed Warbler are seen once in a while.

Dubai Creek Park Cable Car: Cable Car Ride is one the most noted attractions in Dubai Creek Park. Cable Car Timings are 8am -11 pm, Thursday to Saturday: from 8 am ?? 11:30 pm.
