The Metro Station Dubai has the following types : At-Grade(G), Elevated Type 1, Type 2, Type 3, Underground Stations and Underground Transfer Stations Type 1 – Regular at-grade concourse Metro station Type 2 – Regular elevated concourse Metro station Type 3 – An elevated special track Metro station with an extra track to hold a non operational train Underground transfer stations – To accommodate both Red Line and Green lines for easy transfers.
