The Dubai World Cup Carnival (DWCC) will begin Thursday, January 30, 2020 and will offer 10 race meetings leading up to the Dubai World Cup on 28 March 2020. The highly successful Dubai World Cup Carnival was created in 2004 as a racing season to further develop the growth and success of the sport in the UAE and Dubai. Since its inception, the DWCC has annually served as a springboard for some of the world’s most talented runners to prepare and launch into the Dubai World Cup. The DWCC is a truly pioneering festival and has successfully attracted the brightest stars of the international racing scene. An international roster of horsemen come to race and enjoy the prestige and luxury of competing at Meydan Racecourse. The Dubai World Cup Carnival at Meydan has a fantastic global appeal and annually attracts the highest level of runners from – Great Britain, the United States of America, Japan, France, Singapore, Brazil, Australia and Hong Kong to name a few.
