You can also book an appointment online through the Facebook Page of Philippine Consulate Dubai by sending them a message with your Full Name ( First, Middle, Last), Philippine passport book number (Passport Number), and Mobile Number, using the Message facility, not the comment box.

On the day of your appointment, go to the Consular section on time and you will receive a token number. Please remember to bring all the documents mentioned.

You don't have to wait till 2015. You can change your surname now. You will have renew your passport for that. You will have to submit some documents for that.

    • katrin00 says

      Jun 17, 2013 at 10:14 am

Like what blakejgw mentioned you can change your surname. You would need the following documents

      1. Original passport
      2. 1 copy of the passport
      3. Completely filled out ePassport application form.
      4. For married women who want to change your surname, you need the Marriage Contract (MC) in Security Paper issued by NSO or Certified True Copy issued by the Local Civil Registrar duly authenticated by NSO, and authenticated by the Department of Foreign Affairs in Manila. If married in the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi, present the Report of Marriage issued by the Philippine Embassy. If married outside the Philippine Embassy in Abu Dhabi but within the UAE, report of marriage is required.

The fee is around 240 AED.

And in case the MRpassport has not been changed to Epassport as per your due date, can the passport still be used to travel?

passport will expire after 1 month. I am trying to send e-mail to the
following addresses pcgdxb@pcgdubai.ae or pcgdxb@gmail.com but it didn’t
went through, due to over quota mails from recipients address. Also I have
sent message to the Facebook page given, no response till date. Then I tried
applying also online, but i can see all dates are not available. I tried
    calling the landline nos. 04 2666285, 02 641 5922, 02641 5944, and 02 641
3212, either busy, or not available, or no body answers the call. It’s been
months now, but unfortunately I’m not able to get through this. Since my
passport will expire this coming August, what is the best thing to do? In
case I will go direct to Dubai DFA office, will they grant my application
for renewal even without prior appointment? Who should I contact? Please
    need advise on this matter.
