Ramadan Timings 2015

20140521_Ramadan-in-Dubai-2014As Holy Month of Ramadan has started on June 18th, there are changes in working hours in order to facilitate the Holy Month.Here is a quick guide on Ramadan timings for various working sectors in Dubai.

RTA 

Paid parking

Dubai

  • Car parks coded A and B, except the Fish Market, Tecom Zone (Media City/Internet City) and Knowledge Village

Saturday to Thursday: 8:00am to 1:00pm and 7:00 pm to 12:00midnight 

  • Fish Market coded E

Throughout the week: 8:00am to 1:00pm and 4:00pm to 11:00pm

  • Tecom and Knowledge Village coded F

Saturday to Thursday: 8:00am to 6:00pm

The fee will remain active in the multi-level parking terminals 24 hours a day.

Sharjah

Prepaid parking: 8:00am to 1:00pm and 7:00pm to 12midnight

Dubai Bus

From June 18 to July 17

  • Gold Souk and Ghubaiba: 5:00am to 12:00midnight
  • Al Qusais, Satwa, Al Quoz Industrial, and Jebel Ali: 5:40am to 10:30pm
  • Other stations: 5:00am to 12:30am (past midnight), except for Route C01; which will operate round-the-clock.

Metro Feeders Stations

  • At Rashidiya, Mall of the Emirate, Ibn Battuta, Burj Khalifa-Dubai Mall, Abu Hail and Etisalat stations
    • Saturday to Wednesday: 5:15am to 12:30am (past midnight)
    • Thursday and Friday: 5:15am to 1:10am (of the following day)
  • All metro stations feeder bus services will complement the timings of the metro service hours.
  • From June 18 to July 17 this year, commercial transport and inter-city bus services will operate as follows:
    • Ghubaiba: 24-hours a day
    • Union Square, Sabkha: 5:30am to 12:00midnight
    • Deira City Center and Karama stations: 6:10am to 10:15pm
    • Sharjah (Jubail):24-hours a day
    • Abu Dhabi station: 5:00am to 12:30am (past midnight)
    • Fujairah station: 5:55am until 9:30pm
    • Ajman station: 6:00am to 10:00pm
    • Hatta station: 5.30am up to 9:30pm

Metro

  • Red Line
    • Saturday to Wednesday: 5:30am to 12:00am (midnight)
    • Thursday: 5:30am to 1am (of the following day)
    • Friday: 1 pm to 1 am (of the following day).
  • Green Line
    • Saturday to Wednesday: 5:50am to 12:00 midnight
    • Thursday: 5:50am to 1am (of the following day)
    • Friday: 1 pm to 1 am (of the following day)

Tram

  • Saturday to Thursday: 6:30 am to 1:30 am (of the following day)
  • Friday: 9:00am to 1:30am (of the following day)

Marine transport 

  • Water Bus at the Dubai Creek and Marina stations
    • Saturday to Thursday: 12:00 pm (at noon) to 12:00 am (midnight)
    • Friday and public holidays: 2:00pm to 1:00 am (of the following day) 
  • Water Taxi service
    • Marina Station: 2:00pm to 10:00pm
    • Ghubaiba Station: 4:00pm to 10:00pm
    • The Palm area: 4:00pm to 10:00pm
  • The Dubai Ferry
    • Ghubaiba Station to Marina Station: at 11:00am to 6:30pm
    • From the Marina Station a tourist journey will be operated for one hour at 5:00pm and pass through tourist landmarks of Dubai such as Atlantis Hotel, and the Palm Island.
  • Abra service
    • Burj Khalifa ?? Dubai Mall: 8:00pm to 11:00pm
    • Al Mamzar: 8:00pm to 2:00am (of the following day)
    • Atlantis: 1:00pm to 9:00pm

Vehicle testing and registration centres

Saturday to Thursday: morning shift from 9:00am to 3:00pm and evening shift from 9:00pm to 12:00am (midnight)

Centres include – Tamam, Wasel (Jadaf, Arabi Center), Enoc (Tasjeel at Al Qusais, Al Barsha, Jebel Ali, Al Warsan, and Al Tawar), Shamil (at Muhaisna, Nad Al Hamar, Al Adid), Cars, Mumayaz (at Al Mizhar, Hamriya, Al Barsha Mall), Enoc Tasjeel at Hatta, Enoc Head Office, Shamil Head Office, and Speed Fit testing centers.

Quick Testing Center: 8:00am to 5:00pm, and 9:00pm to 3:30am (of the following day)

Shirawi Testing Center: 9:00am to 6:00 pm

School hours

Dubai: 8:30am to 1:30pm

Working hours

Public sector

The working hours for all public sector employees i.e various Ministries and other Federal Authorities –  9:00am to 2:00pm

Private sector

The working hours will been reduced by two hours per day, with no changes in their wages.

Dubai Health Authority 

  • Latifa Hospital??s outpatient clinics: Sundays to Thursdays; 9:00am to 2:00pm
  • Dubai Hospital and Rashid Hospital outpatient clinics: On weekdays; 8:00am to 1:00pm and 1:30pm to 6:00pm
  • Hatta Hospital clinics: 8:30am to 10:30pm with an Iftar break from 6:45pm to 8:15pm
  • Nad Al Hamar and Al Barsha health centre: round-the-clock on all days
  • Other DHA primary healthcare centres: Weekdays; 8:30am to 3pm and 8:30pm to 11:30pm. On Saturdays: 8:30am to 1:30pm
  • Dental clinics in DHA hospitals will work as per the hospital timings
  • Dental clinics in DHA primary healthcare centres: Sunday to Thursday; 8:30am to 3:00pm and 8:30pm to 11:30pm
  • Dental clinics in Nad Al Hamar, Al Barsha and Al Bidaa health centres: 8:30am to 6:00pm and 8:30pm to 11:30pm
  • Preventive services in DHA PHCs will remain open from 8:30am to 1:30pm
  • Gynaecology clinics in DHA primary healthcare centres: 9:00am to 2:00pm
  • Dubai Diabetes Centre: Weekdays; 9:00am to 1:00 pm
  • Thalassemia Centre: 7:00am to 9:30pm
  • Dubai Gynaecology and Fertility Centre: 8:30am to 2pm
  • Dubai physiotherapy services: 7:30am to 2:30pm
